Hmm, I don't know how I feel about this. I used to love the smurfs, and since every other childhood love of mine has been turned into a movie, I guess I should expect this. But, it's still weird. Maybe it's the setting. Smurfs should not be roaming around NYC. Didn't they live deep in the forest? As far as I remember, their only contact with humans was to Gargamel (and Mother Nature and Father Time, but I'm not sure they really count as humans).
